On Thursday 27th April, David Day from “Jabba Jabba Jembe” will visit the school to conduct drumming workshops with all classes. The drum and percussion workshop is designed to provide children with a bigger learning experience and more insight into the cultural background of the instruments. During the workshop children will learn about the different techniques used to produce sounds and rhythms with many instruments. He supplies the instruments for the day for all the children. To cover the cost of the workshop can all children please bring €2 into school before Wednesday 26th April.
