First term of 2022 drew to a spooky close with the arrival of some new and very strange pupils….ghouls, witches, creepy clowns and a menagerie of Minions descended on the school for the annual dress-up day.
Much fun was had with new staff members taking over teaching duties for the day 😜. Where’s Wally, “Frank”-enstein, a scarecrow and two Winnies – Winnie the Witch and Winnie the Pooh, and others gave the staff at Brittas a much-needed day off and gave the children a great day of Hallowe’en fun at the school.

Following school, the children travelled the short distance to a Hallowe’en school disco party generously hosted by the Parents Association. Children danced the afternoon away while others played football, in full costume!
Thanks to all the staff, teachers, parents, and students for putting in such a huge effort to make this one of the best Hallowe’en events yet at Brittas Bay National School. A special word of thanks goes to Karl and Louise Devlin for so kindly providing such an amazing venue for the party, and to the decorating and catering teams who worked so hard pulling it together.
Thanks to Angie Nolan (aka Winnie the Witch!) for the fabulous photos.
Wishing all a super mid-term break!
