There was huge excitement when “Birdman”, Colin Travers, visited our school on November the 24th 2022.
Colin came armed with a great selection of birds of prey to show all of the children who were privileged to get a ‘bird’s eye view’ of these amazing creatures.
The children met the Harris hawk, and several breeds of owl as well as our native barn owl with his cute little heart shaped face.
Colin gave a very informative talk and answered all the children’s questions. and the children were treated to an air display in the classroom by our native barn owl.
