Rooms 7 and 8 (4th, 5th & 6th classes) participated in ESB Science Blast at the RDS last week.
Our projects were about volcanoes (6th Class) and ‘Under the Sea’ (4th and 5th Class). We presented these over two days at the RDS, along with lots of other schools from all over Ireland – all of whom had fantastic projects on display which we got to see and investigate.
We got great experience presenting to the judges who were very impressed with our STEM skills and we enjoyed presentations by really interesting people who were speaking throughout the few days on various topics related to STEM.
We were awarded two lovely glass trophies and certificates with feedback from the judges.
We had a super time – many thanks to our teachers and the parents who volunteered to accompany us to the event.
