SSE for Kids

We had a great afternoon learning about wind turbines from WindEnergy4kids.

Being a coastal school, gaining knowledge about and protecting our environment is something we are always keen to learn about. During our day out on the beach with WindEnery4Kids, we made model offshore wind turbines.

The presenters spoke to us about the different types of wind turbines that function in our seas. It was a wonderful educational opportunity to learn about wind turbines in a place as close to the environment as possible.
