This year we had great fun on World Book Day, March 3rd. Children were invited to dress as their favourite character from their favourite books and to bring in their favourite books and read a piece from it.
There were lots of characters from Harry Potter, footballers and even Beano characters in classrooms on the day and much fun was had. We had books in different languages and we learned about lots of new authors on the day too.
Congratulations to Alexandra Rossi, Zarah Manley, Catríona Kavanagh, Alfie Heffernan, Zara Delaunois-vanderperren and April Donohoe who won vouchers for Bridge Street Books on the day, with thanks to the Parent’s Association.
