Congratulations to all those from sixth class who made their confirmation on Saturday, 25th March, at the local church here at Brittas Bay. Luckily the sun shone and so did the kids!
Thank you to all who participated in the ceremony and to all the kids for doing so well in their readings, offertory and singing and to their friends for showing up to support them. A special mention goes to Denis and his dad Aidan for their gorgeous performance during the ceremony. Thanks too to parents, especially Mandie Delahunt for her help, and to the teachers, Fr Donal and Geraldine Egan for all of their guidance and help throughout the year.
Special thanks to the PA and the parents who so generously gave their time to organise teas, coffees, cakes and goody bags for the kids. It was greatly appreciated by all and it made the day a very special community event.
